Ingredients

  • 1 prepared pie crust, unbaked
  • 3/4 cup cooked wild rice
  • 8 strips bacon, diced, cooked crisp
  • 2 cups grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 jar Crosse & Blackwell® Cocktail Onions (drained & chopped)
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half

Directions

  • Step 1

    HEAT oven to 375°F. Line 9-inch pie pan with crust and flute edges. Layer pie with rice, bacon and cheese.

  • Step 2

    Try adding sliced fresh mushrooms before baking.

  • Step 3

    WHISK together eggs, onions and half and half in medium bowl. Pour egg mixture into pie shell.

  • Step 4

    BAKE 40 minutes or until center is set.
