Delicate Mint Flavored Apple Jelly dates back to Elizabethan times, when fresh mint was commonly grown in English herb gardens. Mint was used both to freshen homes and enliven dishes, such as jellies and herb teas.​

Chow Chow Piccalilli is a flavorful mustard pickle relish created more than 100 years ago by Chef Qualiotti, one of England’s great 19th century chefs.​

Major Grey’s Chutney, a sweet, highly spiced mango chutney, was reportedly created by a British Army officer stationed in India during the early 1800’s. Major Grey’s is now considered the definitive British chutney variety.​

Mincemeat harks back to medieval England, where meat pies were stretched to feed more mouths with the inclusion of raisins and currants. By the 1800’s, meat was no longer an ingredient, and the spicy, minced fruit filling was used in pies and other desserts.​
